FALAKATA TOWN CLUB CELEBRATED 62ND INCEPTION DAY WITH BADMINTON

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 17^th August, 2015: The Town Club of Falakata celebrated its 62nd Inception day on 15th August here in Falakata. In this occasion the members of the club organised a One Day Badminton tournament at the Indoor stadium of Falakata. The tournament was organised for both boys and girls categories. The categories are Under – 10 Boys, Under – 13 Boys, Under – 17 Boys and Under – 13 Girls. In under – 10 category boys, the champion was Aditya Vadani and the Runner’s up was Arman Kisku. In Under – 13 category boys, the champion was Ayush Sarkar and the Runner’s up was Souvik Sarkar. The champion of Under – 17 boys category was Ayush Sarkar and the runners up was Suman Sutradhar. Lastly, in the Under – 13 category girls, the champion was Ameesha Sarkar and the runners up was Sukanya Choudhury. Later in the programme Sukanya Choudhury, who stood Bengal Runners in the Under 11 category, was felicitated by Falakata Town club. It is to be noted that from 8th August to 10 August West Bengal Non Ranking Badminton Tournament 2015 was organised at Howrah Baton Byam Samiti Indoor Stadium at Howrah. The little Sukanya from Falakata stood second in the tournament. Her success meant a lot for the Falakatans.
